Established more than 50 years ago, The Heart of Muskoka is beautifully nestled among mature forests along the shores of Three Mile Lake, just steps from the water’s edge and our private sandy beach. Set on 10 acres of lush, well-maintained grounds, our property features eight inviting cabins and a wide range of amenities, including paddleboats, kayaks, canoes, a volleyball court, a water trampoline, and multiple fire pits for evening gatherings.

We offer an ideal retreat from the demands of daily life, providing a peaceful and rejuvenating environment where guests can reconnect with nature. Conveniently located in the heart of Muskoka, our resort is within a 20-minute drive of the region’s most popular towns; Bracebridge, Port Carling, Gravenhurst, and Huntsville giving guests easy access to day trips, golf courses, shopping, dining, and scenic walking trails.

Each cabin offers stunning lake views and unforgettable sunsets. All accommodations are smoke-free, pet-friendly, and furnished with fully equipped kitchens containing all necessary cookware and utensils. Additional features include a propane barbecue, air-conditioning units, satellite TV, wireless internet, and outdoor patio furniture. Guests need only bring towels and linens.

The resort’s outdoor facilities encourage guests to enjoy the fresh Muskoka air while staying active and engaged. Children can make use of our dedicated play area, complete with swings and a slide, while families can enjoy our expansive sports field perfect for tossing a frisbee or playing catch. Our full-size volleyball court and two horseshoe pits offer additional opportunities for recreation. Fishing enthusiasts will appreciate the availability of an on-site rental fishing boat or the option to bring their own. Three Mile Lake is renowned for its bass, pickerel, and perch. For added convenience, we also provide life jackets and sand toys.
